"Raising Money in This Economy Is Like Climbing Mt. Everest..."

Bob and Maggie McCarty have returned safely from their journey to the Base Camp of Mt. Everest. They generously allowed CYFUSA to join their trek to raise monies for the CYFUSA this spring.

Namche Bazaar in the Himalayas, part of the trek.As Bob and Maggie trusted their training and hike through increasing altitudes, CYFUSA is trusting our benefactors' generosity even in a decreasing economy—the very same economy that makes the need to support the formation of our Catholic youth even more acute.

Come, Explore with Us

  • Accept the Challenge and Join the Adventure—All the pieces are in place: Bob and Maggie are getting ready to depart, the challenge has been made—now is the time for you to accept the challenge and join the adventure.

Pointing the way to the Mt. Everest Base Camp.Bob, Maggie, and CYFUSA are aware of the respective challenges they face. Perhaps, because of those challenges, everyone involved sees this adventure as a time to remember that God is always capable of things previously left only in our dreams.

This spring, we will not only climb mountains, we'll move mountains, in the service of our Catholic youth. Join us and be a part of the adventure!
